Movement of Imaginals for Sustainable Societies

Key learnings:

The speed at which beginning transformation is occurring is way beyond expectations. We have organized the movement as a network with nodes (groups) in the different key cities of the Philippines. The degree of inter-node cooperation is very inspiring. One node innovates and, in a short time period, this innovation becomes a system-wide or movement-wide innovation. It is a promising indication of future possibilities as the movement takes on more and more systemic work.

Key process elements coming soon.

Key question this project addresses:

How can "imaginals" (individuals who have awakened to their creative potential) come together and synergize each others efforts in order to create new and higher collectivities that will have the power to profoundly shift the country towards integral sustainable development?

Success looks like:

MISSION is a cultural, spiritual, scientific awareness-based movement that brings together individuals from civil society, government, and business. It currently has over 40 initiatives spanning the different thematic sectors of society.

Success would mean that we have MISSION Nodes in all the key major cities of the Philippines (at least 35 nodes). And these nodes are well-known in their respective areas of operation as key thought and initiative leaders inspiring a much wider area towards sustainable communities on the basis of profound inner change. The different thematic initiatives of MISSION (in the areas of sustainable agriculture, alternative education, holistic health, policy innovation, green business, and other areas) are all cooperating with each other in truly innovative and inspiring ways.

The first green mall in the country, hosting over 100 initiatives in one location, will be operational by then, and, thereby, demonstrating a totally different way of bringing together green initiatives in one place. Increasing numbers of local governments would have green policies, programs, and projects and are truly cooperating with civil society and business in the creation of sustainable cities, towns and communities. Civil Society 2.0 will be a new reality within this time period. Civil Society 2.0 refers to the new generation of civil society that explicitly incorporates awareness-based practices to respond to the profound spiritual, scientific, societal, and human challenges that face nations and the world in the decades to come.

Help needed:

The biggest support MISSION needs right now are sources of sustainable financial support. Currently, MISSION relies on self-generated sources of support. If supportive and strategic funding sources were available, then MISSION will be able to achieve its 3-5 years goals in a much shorter period of time and with greater effectively
