From Consumption to Coherence: Creating Regionally Regenerative Food Systems

Key learnings:

First awareness shift on level of organization and leadership: Move towards periphery of the Organic Food Company and put yourself into the shoes/perspective of the frontline: customers, farmers, local sales and leadership  of the food stores: What is the real need?

Key process elements:

Learning Journey, Shadowing, Leadership Training, Dialogue Interviews, Stakeholder Interviews.

Success looks like:

Says the new CEO of Organic Food Company, Thomas Gutberlet: “in order to sustain and regenerate resources in regional food systems, we need a paradigm shift as a  company from being organized from inside-out to outside-in. In order to do so, we need to create a new type of relationship with our customers: 'What is it that they really need?', and not 'What is it that we think or wish they should need?'” Key indicators not defined yet.

Help needed:

New economic models operating from the whole of regenerative regional food systems and societal well-being including all stakeholders from farming to customer in supermarket.

The next bubble (after the global finance market) to burst is the food bubble. How to shift from quantity to quality awareness in farming, food production, pricing, trade, consumption.
