Margaret K. O'BryonMargaret O'Bryon is president and CEO of the Consumer Health Foundation. The foundation’s work is dedicated to improving the health of Washington, D.C. area communities, particularly the most vulnerable members of these communities, and supporting activities that enable people to be more actively involved in their own health.
Prior to joining CHF, Ms. O'Bryon worked for Prince Charitable Trusts. She also served as the Associate Director of the Institute for Urban Development Research at the George Washington University. Her early professional career was spent working for the U.S. House of Representatives.
Ms. O'Bryon was named a Kellogg National Fellow. She currently serves in a leadership capacity in a number of organizations, including Washington Grantmakers Health Working Group; the national Board of Grantmakers In Health where she serves as chair; the Washington AIDS Partnership; the national advisory committee of The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Community Health Leadership Program; D.C. Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC); and the D.C. Nonprofit Finance Fund. Ms. O'Bryon has degrees from Hamilton/Kirkland College (BA) and George Washington University (Masters in Urban and Regional Planning).
